Alexander Görlitz from FOTO-GÖRLITZ was kind enough to lend me the LEICA M11 for a few weeks, so that I could gain experience and share it with you in a video. In the end the camera went back to FOTO-GÖRLITZ. I did not receive any money for this report.

I wanted to use the time to get an idea of the Leica M11. On the one hand, of course, to tell you about it on our YouTube channel, among other things, and on the other hand, to make a decision for myself whether to upgrade from my Leica M10-P to the M11.

Please don't expect a technical or objective review, I won't even go into all the numerous new features, which you can find quickly and in detail in various places on the web.

I will take a look at the Leica M11 from the following points of view, which are important to me for my type of photography: - What does the M11 offer me that I might be missing with my M10-P? - What do I like better about my M10-P or what makes me hesitate not to put it on the back burner?

These are the questions I want to answer here, i.e. real considerations for me personally, which make me decide whether to go for the M11 or not.

But I can say one thing right away: Leica has my respect and my thanks. My respect for the fact that they continue to develop the M series and, in my eyes, always strive not to dilute the "soul" of the M too much. And my thanks for not letting the M series die out.
